You're a Physician

You Worked Hard to Get Here

You've Played by the Rules to Build This Career
And You've Kept Showing Up

But Maybe It's Time for a Change.

You've Considered a 1099 Career
But Where Would You Start?

Start Here.

Med School and Residency Prepared Us for Everything

(Okay. Almost Everything)

After residency, most of us proudly took jobs.

We became "valued employees"

And we worked overtime to prove what good doctors we were.

We did what we were told.

Always a team player.

But still.

They kept requiring more.

More Paperwork

More Regulations

More Patients per hour

Meanwhile,

So many Physicians feel trapped in their jobs.

Corporate Executives carelessly undermine our futures,

That slacker freshman college roommate of yours?

...now a hedge fund billionaire.

And you can't get a Thursday afternoon off to save your life.

You didn't work this hard to hand over your freedom.

But what are you supposed to do?

I'm Ann Jones

I’m an anesthesiologist, business owner, and MBA.

And like a lot of physicians, I was disillusioned.

I was tired of being told to work harder, accept less, and shut up about how things should actually be done.

I thought about quitting, but I love being a doctor.

So I tried the usual fixes - cutting back, changing jobs, getting an MBA.

Here’s what I learned:

The system isn’t broken.

It makes money (lots of it) and creates control for the people running hospitals and buying up practices.

Not so much for the rest of us.

I believe physicians deserve better.

I’ve been self-employed since 2003 and have built my career on one belief:

Physicians should control their own careers.

For some of us, that means leaving W2 employment

and embracing the self-employment lifestyle.

There's a tremendous shift happening in medicine.

And it's more than just a business model.

It’s a Revolution.

What if Physicians Didn't Have
to Be Employees?

What if you were meant to build something of your own?

Set your own terms, choose your own hours, and get paid what you're worth.

Maybe this is exactly what you've been looking for.

But you've never done this before.

What are the rules?

What questions should I ask?

Where do I even start?

Start here.
